  1. Getting books right. The purgatory of the calling. I can write a book in a year, but I don’t think it would be a very good book. In two years I can write a good book, but not my best. Give me five years, and I can probably do a book that will make people (a few people, anyway) gasp with delight. But at what point am I just procrastinating and indulging myself, letting my insecurities paralyze me?
